Why Do Salons Need Ratings?
- Client feedback and satisfaction matter enormously to every service provider, which is why booking ratings give you a great overview of how happy clients are with your service, and whether you should improve something or keep doing exactly what you’re doing.
- These ratings also help you build so-called social proof-sharing your average ratings helps build trust and confidence in new clients that you’re a professional in your field, and makes them prefer you over salons with no ratings at all, or a very low average rating.
How Does Getting Ratings Work?
SalonLife automatically sends the client a rating request notification 1 hour after their booking, letting them rate their salon visit and the result they got on a 5-point scale.
This feature is automatically activated on your account, so you don’t need to do anything else to set it up.

Who Sees These Ratings, and Where?
You can see the rating for each booking both on the Bookings page (see the first image) and on the Calendar page, by clicking the booking.
On top of that, your salon’s average booking rating and a more detailed breakdown are shown on your SalonLife.com marketplace profile page (https://salonlife.com/et).

Salon ratings are also visible in the listing view:

NB! If you don’t want to receive feedback ratings for your bookings, you can turn this feature off from: Apps → Staff → Your Profile → Settings → Recommended: Automatic Feedback Request.
