With the booking history feature, you can quickly get an overview of all of a client’s past and upcoming bookings. It helps you stay on top of when a client last visited the salon, which services they chose, and what the booking’s status or other details were. Below, we’ll take a closer look at how to open a booking’s history and what you’ll find there.

What Will You Find in Booking History?

- Total number of bookings - the bar at the top shows how many bookings that client has in SalonLife in total.
- Visits by date - the list shows you exactly when the client has visited the salon and which staff member they saw.
- Booking statuses - you get a quick overview of whether a booking was confirmed, canceled, already completed, etc.
- Detailed information - clicking a single booking opens a detail view showing:
- The list of services and their price
- The dates the booking was created or changed
- Additional information (e.g., who made the last change, or when the booking was finally confirmed)
TIP:
If you want to view the details of the previous or next booking, use the arrow buttons often found at the top or bottom of the page (if visible) to quickly move between bookings.
Why Is Booking History Useful?
- Makes it easier to communicate with a client, since you know their past visits and preferences.
- Lets you quickly identify which services a client booked last time, so you can repeat the same thing if needed, or suggest something different.
- Saves time, since you don’t have to look for information elsewhere in the booking list or client list.
The booking history feature gives you a quick overview of a client’s past and upcoming appointments. This way, before every booking, you can check which services have been provided before, who served the client, or exactly when they visited. If a question ever comes up about who changed a booking’s time, or whether the client received a confirmation email, it’s also worth taking a look at the booking history page.
Stay one step ahead by keeping an eye on booking history as you go, and giving every client the best possible service!
