Keeping your client database tidy matters. Sometimes you may need to remove a contact from your database-for example, if a client has moved far away and hasn’t booked a beauty appointment in years. Below, we’ll show you how to delete a client from your SalonLife client database.

How to Delete a Client

 
1.    Open the client database overview under ''Clients''
      Go from the Apps menu to the Clients page, which shows all the contacts in your SalonLife client database.  
 
2.    Find the client you want to delete
      Find the right client in the list and click the Info button next to their name.  
 
3.    Confirm the deletion
      Once you’re in the client’s profile view, look for the Delete button in the top right corner. Click it, and the system will then ask you to confirm that you really want to delete the client.
   
   • Confirm the change if you want to remove the client for good.

 Good to know:
 Once you’ve deleted a client from your database, all their past bookings stay in the system, but the client’s name is no longer shown with them. So in your calendar and booking history, you’ll still see when a booking took place, but it’s no longer linked to that client’s profile.

Once you’ve confirmed the action, the client is permanently deleted from your client database, and you no longer have access to their contact details.
