Adding bookings in the SalonLife calendar is quick and convenient. Below, you’ll find a step-by-step guide to how.

1) Choosing the Right Time in the Calendar

First, go to the calendar view and navigate to the date and time where you want to add a new booking.

• If you’re using a computer, click the time you want on the time bar with your mouse.
• If you’re on a phone or tablet, tap that time with your finger.

TIP:
If you happen to click the wrong time, no worries! You can conveniently drag the booking to the right time later.

2) Creating a New Booking

After clicking the time you want, a small menu opens, where you can select Create New Booking. This takes you to the booking setup view.

3) Selecting Services

Now you can select one or more services the client wants for this booking. If the service list is long, use the search bar at the top to quickly find the service you need.

4) Adding a Client

Next, you need to select a client for the booking:

• If you already have an existing client database, you can easily find the right client’s name using the search field.
• If it’s a new client, click Add New Client and fill in their contact details. This way, the new visitor is added to your client database right away.

5) Confirming the Booking

Once the services and client are selected, click Create Booking. The system will then ask whether you want to send the client a booking confirmation email. If you’d like to, click Send to notify the client of all the booking’s details by email.

6) The Booking in the Calendar

Your newly created booking now appears in the calendar. If you need to change the time or services, you can always make those changes-for example, by dragging the booking to a different time, or changing its duration.
