If you’d like your online booking page to greet clients by default in a language other than Estonian, you can easily change the primary language. Below is a step-by-step guide to doing that.
Why Set a Primary Language?
If your salon has clients who prefer English, Russian, Finnish, or another language, it’s convenient for them to land on your online booking page and immediately see information in their preferred language. This makes it easier for clients to book with confidence, and shows them the salon cares about its international clients.
How Do You Change the Default Language?

- Open the Translations Settings
Go to Apps and open the Translations tab, where every online booking language is managed. - Choose the Language You Want
The main view shows a list of the languages available. If you haven’t added a new language yet, you can add one right from this page. - Set the Chosen Language as Primary
- Find the Settings button next to the language.
- Click the settings button and, in the language’s settings, mark Primary Language? → change it to “Yes”.
- Save your changes. - Check the Result
- Open your online booking link in a new browser window to see whether the newly added language now shows as the primary one.
- Keep in mind that clients can always change the language themselves later, from the language selector in the top right corner of the page.

TIP:
If you’d like to offer clients a choice of several languages, make sure the translations for all your services, categories, and other text are entered correctly. That way, the new language covers every view properly, and clients feel comfortable at every step.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I change the primary language again at any time?
Yes, just follow the same process: go to Apps and open the Translations tab, choose a new language, and set it as the primary language. - What happens to the previous primary language?
It stays available as an option, but it’s no longer shown as the default language when a client first lands on the page. - Will all the text definitely show up correctly if I add a new language?
Make sure you’ve also prepared the translation yourself for the new language. The system already includes the core translation, but adding your own services and descriptions is your responsibility.
Hopefully this article helps you successfully switch your online booking’s default language and offer clients an even more convenient, pleasant booking experience.
