If you have the opportunity to open a new salon — whether in the same city, a different city, or even another country — you can easily add it in SalonLife and manage it from a single account. A new salon can have its own service menu, a separate client base, or a completely different target audience, and all of that can be configured in SalonLife to fit your needs.
Why Add a New Salon Location?
Adding a new location under one account gives you the flexibility to manage all your bookings, staff, services, and client data from a single place, without constantly logging in and out of different accounts.
At the same time, you can keep each salon’s calendars, settings, and online booking preferences separate. This means every location can operate as an independent salon, while everything stays easy for you to manage with a single login.

More on Salon Affiliation
When creating a new salon, you need to decide whether it:
- Belongs to the same salon chain
If you want to keep all your locations under one online booking link, so the client picks a location first (e.g. “Tallinn” or “Tartu”), mark the salon as part of the same chain. In that case, the client sees a choice of location when they open online booking and picks the one they prefer. - Is a new standalone salon
If you want a completely independent salon with its own online booking link and design (e.g. a salon with a totally different style, or for a completely different target audience), choose this option instead. That way, each salon gets its own identity and its own online booking link.
TIP:
For example, if you have a salon called “My Beauty Salon” and also want to open a “Barbershop,” it may make sense to set these up as two standalone salons. But if you’re opening a second location with the same service provider in a different city, it’s usually better to put it under the same chain.
Managing Multiple Salons
- Calendars
Every salon has its own calendar, bookings, staff, and service list. When you switch from one salon’s calendar to another’s, always double-check that you’re logged in under the right location (see the next point). - Switching Salons
If you want to switch quickly between salons, click your profile in the top right corner of the page and choose the salon name from the dropdown menu. That immediately shows you the other salon’s bookings, staff, and settings. - Different Working Hours
If you work at more than one location yourself, be sure to keep a close eye on not enabling a work schedule at the same times in both salons. Otherwise, clients could end up booking you at two different locations at the same time.
You’ll find a separate article on managing multiple salons and billing here.
What’s Next?
Once you’ve created your new salon location, you can go on to add:
- Staff (you can set their working hours and services in more detail).
- Services (choose whether they’re the same or different, depending on whether it’s part of the same chain or a standalone salon).
- Products and inventory management (if you sell products, you can keep stock levels separate for each location).
- Automatic notifications (if you want clients to get booking confirmations, reminders, and so on by SMS or email).
Your new salon location is now added! All that’s left is to set up whatever settings you still need. With SalonLife, all your salons’ information stays conveniently in one place, making it simpler and faster to manage multiple salons!
