How Does Accepting Ilukaart Work — Where and What Do I Need to Mark When the Client Arrives?
If a client books an appointment at your salon and wants to pay for their service with Ilukaart, follow these steps:
- Jump for joy — Ilukaart just brought you a great new client! 🎉
- Log in to your SalonLife account.
- Go to the Calendar page.
- Click the relevant booking.
- Mark Ilukaart as the payment method in the booking overview.
- Scan the client’s Ilukaart with your phone or device for the QR code, or manually enter the gift card’s unique code, then click the magnifying glass icon.
- If there’s enough balance on the gift card to cover the booking in full, the system deducts the entire booking amount from it. If the balance isn’t enough to cover the full amount, the system shows how much it managed to deduct from the card, and the client can pay you the remainder using another preferred method (e.g. cash or card).
- Done!
Can I Change How I Receive Payouts Later?
Yes, you can change your payout method later. To do this:
- Go to Apps → Ilukaart.
- Select Settings from the submenu.
- Click the Edit button next to your company name.
- Adjust or update your company details if needed, then click Next.
- Choose your preferred payout method and click Save.
- Done! 🎉
How Quickly Do Payments Made With Ilukaart Reach Me?
If you’ve chosen SalonLife credit as your payout method, every amount earned through Ilukaart reaches you automatically on the same day you mark "Ilukaart" as the payment method on a booking.
If you’ve chosen a bank account as your payout method, amounts earned through Ilukaart generally reach you within one week (7 days).
Can I Pause Accepting Ilukaart for a While?
Yes, you can deactivate Ilukaart at your salon for a while by letting us know at info@salon.life. Deactivation takes effect 30 days after you submit your request. Until then, you’re still required to accept Ilukaart from any client who wants to pay with it.
