Reordering Categories

Steps to reorder your categories:

1. Go from the Apps page to the Services tab.
2. Click the Categories button at the top of the page.
3. Grab the arrow icons to the left of, or in front of, the category name, and drag it into the order you want.
4. Once you’re done, go back to the Services view. There you’ll see that the category order has now been updated.

TIP:
If you have several large service categories, put your most in-demand one first, so clients can find what they need more quickly.

Reordering Services

If you have several different services within one category, you can also arrange their order relative to each other:

1. Select the relevant category (for example, "Haircuts") in the Services view.
2. Find the list of services on that same page.
3. Grab the service name (or the arrow icons) to the left and drag it into the order you want.
4. Refresh the page for the changes to save.

TIP:
Keep an eye on how popular your services are, or how often clients are interested in them. Move your most-booked services further up so they stand out and booking goes more smoothly.

If you want certain services or categories to show up first for clients in Online Booking, you can easily change their order in SalonLife. Drag categories and services up or down however you’d like, confirm the changes, and clients will then automatically see the new order.
