In SalonLife, the most recently added services or categories go to the end of the list. But if you want a particular category or service to always be the first thing clients see in online booking, you can easily drag it into whatever order suits you. Below is a step-by-step guide to how.

Reordering Categories

• Open Services from the Apps page.
• Click the Categories button to see all your existing categories.
• Find the category you want and grab the arrow icons in front of it with your mouse (on a computer) or your finger (on a tablet/phone).
• Drag the selected category into the order you want.
• Release the button or your finger once the category is in the right place.

If you want your most popular categories to always be the first thing clients see, just drag them to the top of the list.

Reordering Services Within Categories

Besides the order of categories, you can also change the order of each service. This is especially useful if you want your more popular services to come first.

1. Go back to the Services page.
2. Open the relevant category where you want to change the services.
3. Again, grab the arrow icons to the left of the service name and drag the service to the right spot.
4. Repeat this step for every service you want to reorder.

If you have a lot of different services and categories, reordering them helps make it easier for clients to choose. This way, the services or categories you want to highlight are always the first ones visible. Put your most-used or most popular options at the top of the list, and make it as easy as possible for people booking to find the service they’re after!
