Gift cards are a great way to offer clients a convenient, flexible gifting option. Creating a new gift card in SalonLife is quick and easy. Below you’ll find detailed instructions on how to create a gift card and issue it to a client.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1.    Open the Apps page
       After logging in, select Apps from the top menu bar, then click the Gift Cards button.

       From the Gift Cards page, click the button with the + icon.

  1. Set the gift card’s value—you can choose from the existing options or enter your own amount (for example, 20, 50 euros, or another suitable amount).
  2. If you’d like, you can add the gift card code manually. If you prefer an automatic solution, click the automatic code generator button, which creates a unique code for each gift card.
  3.    Set the validity period
       Decide how long the gift card will be valid (for example, 1 year). Then confirm your choice.

       Once all the necessary details have been added, confirm the changes by clicking Save.  
    • The new gift card appears in the Gift Cards list.
    • When a client buys a gift card, you can conveniently hand it to them in SalonLife and later simply register its use.
TIP:
 If you want to create and sell a gift card quickly, you can let the system generate unique codes with the automatic code generator. This ensures every gift card is distinct and avoids possible duplicates.

Once you’ve successfully created a gift card, you can:

  • Print the gift card out or send it to the client by email.
  • Track gift card usage and validity periods on the same page, where you can also change the details or invalidate the gift card if needed.
