Below we give you an overview of how to add your salon’s online booking to a website built on the Voog platform.

There’s more than one way to do it: for example, you can add a booking link to your menu, or add a floating booking button instead, which stays visible as visitors browse any page of your website.

1. Adding the Booking Link to Voog’s Top Menu

  1. Log in to your Voog website and select Edit Site.
  2. In the top menu settings, find where you can add a new menu item (button: Add).
  3. Select Add a link instead and name it Book Now.
  4. Paste the booking link you copied earlier from SalonLife into the address field.
  5. Save your changes.

Now your website’s top menu has a booking button that takes visitors straight to your SalonLife online booking page when clicked.

2. Adding a Floating Booking Button

If you want the online booking window to open right on your website, a floating button is the ideal solution. It stays visible at the edge of the screen even as the visitor browses the page and scrolls up and down.

  1. Open SalonLife’s Apps page and select Online Booking.
  2. From there, go to the Website Integration page.
  3. Choose your preferred booking button design and enter the button text (e.g. Book Now).
  4. Copy the code from the generator (you’ll need this to add the floating button).
  5. In Voog, go to the Edit Site page, select Settings, then Site.
  6. A new tab opens. The External Statistics Code field is where you add the code snippet you copied earlier.
  7. Paste the code there and scroll down to Save your changes.

‍
Once you’ve saved and reopened the page, you should see a floating button in the bottom corner of the screen (e.g. Book Now). Clicking it opens a small popup booking window where the visitor can complete their booking without leaving your website.
‍

TIP:
You can change the floating button’s color, text, and style at any time on the Online Booking and Website Integration pages, then simply refresh it by copying the code again.

‍
With the Voog website platform, integrating the SalonLife online booking system is a quick, easy process. Adding a button to your website menu, or a floating button in the bottom corner, lets clients conveniently pick a time that works for them. Happy setting up!
