Which SMS Messages Cost Money?

When you use the payment solution, the following can incur a charge, for example:

• sending a payment link to a client by SMS
• the security code SMS for an online booking prepayment
• other automatic payment-related SMS notifications

These aren’t part of the free system notifications.

How Much Does One SMS Cost?

SalonLife SMS credit costs roughly €0.1 per SMS.

Using the payment solution generally uses up more SMS messages than sending only booking confirmations or reminders, so it’s worth reviewing your SMS credit settings early on.

We recommend turning on automatic SMS credit purchases to avoid a situation where your credit runs out unexpectedly and notifications stop reaching clients.

With automatic purchasing turned on:
• the system keeps an eye on your SMS credit balance
• it buys more SMS credit based on the rules you set (for example, if only 20 SMS credits are left, the system automatically buys 100 more)
